Frequently Asked Questions

Everything You Need to Know About Our Show

What’s the Show All About?

Our show is a 30-minute performance bringing Alaska’s history to life.  Through dance, storytelling, and video, we cover centuries of exploration, battles, Russian culture, the Alaska Purchase by the US, and early civil rights laws—all while weaving in the Tlingit heritage.

Where Can I See the Performance?

You can usually catch our performance at Harrigan Centennial Hall (HCH), the main shuttle drop-off site and visitor center for most cruise ship guests. Additional shows take place at Sitka Cirque (SC), 207 Smith Street.

Please check your ticket or our calendar for the correct location. If we are performing at our Smith Street venue, you can catch a taxi, or enjoy a beautiful 1.2 mile walk along the harbor and through Sitka National Historic Park, then watch for our directional signs once you pass the post office.

Our venues are fully accessible, but if you have specific needs, please contact us ahead of your visit, and we’ll be happy to assist. Again, because we perform at different venues throughout the season (such is life in a small town),  please make a note of where we are for the performance you plan to go to. Harrigan Centennial Hall (HCH) or Sitka Cirque, 207 Smith St. (SC)

Cellphone and Wifi Connectivity?

Sitka’s cellphone connectivity and wifi can be spotty at times. If you arrive in Sitka and find you are unable to make your ticket purchase by phone, don’t worry! You may get your tickets at the door, within 30 minutes of the show.

Do I Need to Book in Advance?

No need to book in advance. We will be at the theater entrance 30 minutes before showtime to sell tickets and answer questions. While pre-purchasing isn’t necessary, we will give a warm welcome to those who do!

What Are the Ticket Prices?

Tickets are $15 per person. Kids 10 and under are free with a paying adult.

How Long is the Show?

The show lasts approximately 30 minutes, making it the perfect addition to your Sitka itinerary without taking up too much of your time.

Is the Show Family-Friendly?

Absolutely!  Our performance is designed to entertain and educate audiences of all ages.  Kids and adults alike will enjoy the vibrant storytelling and engaging visuals.

When is the Best Time to Visit?

Our performance season runs from May through September, and we generally perform when cruise ships are in town. Check our calendar for specific dates and performance times. We can also do special performances by special request.

What’s Your Cancellation Policy?
